Our business was established in 2008 by Mr Lucas Pardo after 15 years experience as a consultant engineer in the public and private sectors. LR Pardo & Associates is a privately owned company and currently employs thirteen people.
In early 2009 Peter joined our team as a work experience student from Monash University where he experienced first hand the profession of civil and geotechnical engineering. After completing this final year of his Bachelor of Engineering degree, he returned to our team as a part-time employee, allowing him to travel and work. He was quickly taken on full-time as the business expanded rapidly. Peter now manages many of our projects and executes them in a cost-effective, timely and professional manner.
Over our short history LR Pardo & Associates has expanded its array of vehicles and equipment. We currently have six company vehicles, a pavement investigation trailer comprising an electric generator and jackhammers to speed up the process of excavation. We also have a ute mounted pavement investigation kit comprising the same equipment as the trailer. This means that we are able two excavate at a minimum of two locations at a time; either on the same road, or different projects. To speed up the process of investigation we have a full suite of traffic management and control devices allowing us to control traffic if required, and save time.
All of our engineering staff have OH&S Induction White Cards and some hold Traffic Control training as well as the Rail Industry Worker Card.
