In some countries, there are other things to consider when planning roads: “Iceland construction respect elves or else” “Icelanders stop work on a new highway that would destroy elf habitats.”

Really easy highway access and a natural roundabout. Some people are very attached to their ‘castle’. Again, in China, an example of an owner who would not sell.

An island paradise for these people who refuse to sell. Is that a garage door on the cliff!?!

In China, nothing stands in the way of progress. These guys really didn’t want to move!  

Spare a thought for the Chinese in this traffic jam when you’re next sitting in traffic.
