Lucas recently joined the panel on Acid Sulphur Soils at the WASCON (utilisation of Waste products in Construction) conference in Tampere, joined a Transport Research conference in Finland, and also learned much about landslides in Italy (where they have plenty of experience with their cliff-hanging coastal towns).
