- Investigation and design of rigid concrete pavements, Industrial and hard stand areas in accordance with VicRoads, Austroads and Australian Standards;
- Testing of pavement materials: asphalt, aggregates, soils and concrete, quarry quality control;
- Assessment and rehabilitation of sealed/unsealed roads;
- The use of geotextiles in pavement construction and rehabilitation;
- Road roughness and rutting using laser profilometers;
- Pavement deflection using falling weight deflectometer, Benkelman beam or Ligth Drop Weight Tester (LDWT) in accordance with ASTM E2835-11;
- Pavement profiling using Ground Penetrating Radar;
- Pavement condition assessment and performance monitoring;
- Pavement deterioration modelling and rehabilitation treatments;
- Maintenance Scheduling and Works Programs;
- Mix design and construction of stabilised road pavements;

- Supervision of earthworks and roadworks, including surface and subsurface drainage installation and reinforced earth structures and reinforced pavements using geosynthetics. Certification as per AS3798 Level 1 or Level 2;
