Earthworks
Experience counts. When you need earthworks monitoring and quality assurance, you want a Geotechnical Inspection and Testing Authority (GITA) who knows the standards and how to apply them. We work with our clients to ensure their sites meet the Level 1 earthworks standard and problems are headed off before it’s too late.
Geotechnical Investigations
Vibration Monitoring
If your site has critical underground infrastructure like gas transmission pipelines or sensitive historical structures, measuring and monitoring the effect of large plant and earthworks on these assets is important. Pardo Engineering can provide advice, install monitoring equipment, and provide reports so that these assets are protected throughout the earthworks phase.
Level 1 Supervision
Contact us to work out a daily rate for supervision at your earthworks site. Our technicians will be on time and are able to provide immediate feedback to your machinery operators and site managers regarding the suitability of compaction, the daily testing results, and the suitability of the fill being placed. Our goal is to help your contractor successfully complete the earthworks to the Level 1 standard so there are no surprises down the track.
Level 2 or 3 Supervision
Our team can also provide lower levels of supervision if Level 1 certification is not required for your site. Contact us and we’ll put together a proposal that meets your needs and satisfies the Australian standards.
Testing
Our team will organise nuclear density tests and laboratory tests with one of our trusted, NATA-accredited testing partners. A proof-roll test will be conducted on each layer, and we can also provide Dyanmic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) and Light Weight Deflectometer (LWD) testing across the site to ensure quality.
Final Report
Our team will combine all of the data collected on a daily basis into a comprehensive report that validates the site as being filled according to the Level 1 standard. This includes daily site reports, plans and photographs, as well as test results for each layer.
